Sarah K. Hofbauer is the founder of Hofbauer Law Group and a trusted strategic advisor to SBA lenders, banks, financial institutions, private investors, and select corporate clients. She counsels sophisticated financial and business clients on complex commercial finance, risk management, regulatory, enforcement, and litigation matters.

Ms. Hofbauer advises clients throughout the lending and investment life cycle, from transaction structuring and closing through default, workout, liquidation, and litigation. Her practice includes SBA lending, commercial finance, regulatory compliance, loan workouts, collections, enforcement, liquidation, and commercial litigation.

Drawing on substantial experience and sound commercial judgment, Ms. Hofbauer helps clients evaluate risk, protect capital, preserve strategic options, and make informed decisions in high-stakes and time-sensitive matters. Crystal V. (Sava) Cáceres focuses her practice on bankruptcy, mortgage foreclosure, and creditors' rights. She represents clients in complex financial distress matters, including foreclosure litigation, eviction proceedings, and housing court disputes.

Prior to joining Hofbauer Law Group, Ms. Cáceres practiced at a mid-sized law firm, where she built a practice centered on bankruptcy and foreclosure litigation.

Ms. Cáceres is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois. She is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
